A Bit About Me
I am a husband, father, teacher, leader, theologian, and artist (see above)--and I have a deeply rooted love for Christ and for the Church. I also have a passion and calling to encourage people to lift their voices in praise to the Lord--to acknowledge His presence in our midst and to worship Him. My vocational path has afforded me a breadth of experience that gives me the ability to connect with a wide array of people--from the maestro to the janitor, from the childlike to the professional. I also love languages and cultures which fuels my passion for cross cultural missions. I am also an avid historian and budding writer. To counter a sometimes busy schedule however, I enjoy travelling, camping, hiking, fishing and photography. Likewise, I delight to spend time as a family and include the kids into these activities.

Our
Story
Get to Know Us
My wife Lisa and I were introduced to each other by Dr. Neil Clark Warren in 2009--I was teaching at Briercrest College, she was teaching English in China. Since we both had backgrounds in music, teaching and missions, we could soon see that God was putting us on a path for life together. We were married in Neffsville, PA in 2013 and decided to start our family in Canada. We have three children: Gideon (7), Karel (5), and Caroline (3). We are a homeschooling family.
